UserGuiding is built with React and works well with the modern front end frameworks including React, Angular and Vue.

On which browsers can my end users view product guides?

Your end users can view the guides in all browsers without any installation or preparation. As a product/web application owner, you can create your interactive guides using Google Chrome and Chromium-based browsers such as Opera, Vivaldi, Edge, or Brave.

Do I need to be a designer or a developer to use UserGuiding?

No, you don’t need to be a designer or developer to use UserGuiding. Our tool is easy to use and completely code-free.

What does Monthly Active Users Mean?

Monthly Active User (MAU) is the total number of unique user IDs that have logged in to your platform in the previous 30 days. We don’t charge you for dormant (idle) users who may be in your database but don’t log any activity during the last 30 days. Check out this article for more info.

How does UserGuiding comply with GDPR?

What happens if I exceed MAU quota?

When you exceed your MAU quota, your existing users will keep seeing your guides and other UserGuiding materials on your website. No bad surprises regarding invoices of UserGuiding, we won’t charge you extra. But your new users won’t see any materials until you increase your quota, or your MAU drops back under your quota.

Do you have a Free Trial?

Of course! We understand that everyone wants to test out the functionality and the quality of the tool before subscribing. You can test the features of UserGuiding for 14-days to better understand how we can help you!

What are the available feature add-ons?

You can manage your Add-On Preferences within the UserGuiding Panel to purchase extra material quotas, extra seats for team members, extra containers, and white-label branding. Check out this article to learn more about add-on management.

Can I host my content on an EU server?

Yes, hosting on an EU server is optional at $50. If you don’t want your account hosted on a US server, you can request to switch your content to an EU server located in Frankfurt, Germany. Keep in mind that the switching process would cause data loss. Therefore, request it as soon as possible if it is necessary for you.

Does UserGuiding support multi-language content?

Yes. UserGuiding has text support enabled for all languages and scripts available within modern browsers. You can create multilingual content such as guides, onboarding checklists, and a Net Promoter Survey and show them to their target audience. Check out our guide to learn more.

Can I use UserGuiding for mobile apps or mobile websites?

UserGuiding doesn’t support native mobile apps at the moment, but your content can be displayed on all modern web browsers regardless of the device used. However, you will need to contact us for displaying your content on screens smaller than 800px, since we’re currently testing this feature.
